Privacy Policy
Goblin Inventory Manager is designed as a local-first application. This policy explains what information the app uses, where that information is stored, and what happens when you export, share, back up, restore, or delete your data.
Data collection
AlpSoft LLC does not collect, transmit, sell, or share your inventory records or product images through the free version’s normal local-only operation. No account is required. The app does not include analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, telemetry, or remote-configuration SDKs.
Local data
Inventory records, locations, product information, activity history, settings, and managed product images are stored locally on your device. AlpSoft LLC cannot access or recover this locally stored information.
Camera and photos
Camera access is used for barcode and QR code scanning and, when selected by you, for capturing product images. Photo library access is used when you choose an existing product image or save a generated label. You can continue using manual entry and products without images if these permissions are denied.
Exports, backups, and sharing
Files leave the app only when you choose to export, save, or share them. Exported reports, labels, images, and backup files may contain information from your inventory. Once a file leaves the app, its storage, security, and handling are controlled by you and the service or destination you select.
Backup and restore
A Goblin Inventory backup may contain inventory records and managed product images. Restoring a backup replaces the app’s current local data. Keep backup files in a secure location and verify that you have selected the correct file before restoring.
Data retention and deletion
You can erase the app’s locally stored inventory data from Settings → Data Management → Erase All Data. Deleting the app may also permanently remove local data. Export and safely store a backup before erasing data, deleting the app, or changing devices. AlpSoft LLC cannot remotely delete or recover data stored by the free version’s local-only operation.
Third-party services
The app may use operating-system services to access the camera, photo library, file storage, printing, or sharing features that you choose to use. It may also open a scanned web link in your browser or prepare a support email when you request those actions. Files or information shared with another application or service are subject to that provider’s privacy practices.
Children’s privacy
Goblin Inventory Manager is a general-purpose inventory tool and is not directed to children under 13. AlpSoft LLC does not knowingly collect children’s personal information through the free version’s normal local-only operation.
Policy changes
This privacy policy may be updated when the app’s features or data practices change. The latest version and its effective date will be made available through the app and the official Goblin Inventory Manager website.
